Show And Tell Friday

Hi, everyone. I hope you had a good week. As you all know my mom visited from NC and it was a surprise. We had a good time, busy, but not too busy. We met with friends, family, had a cookout, shopped, boated and hung out. Now I'm preparing to go back to school on Aug. 13.
I was feeling a little down on Tues. and Wed. so dear hubby sent me flowers. It was a real pick-me-up, thanks Honey. Here they are:

He's also been really supportive of my blogging. He sees how happy it makes me. So here's a picture of some veggies from our garden. (He took the picture so I'd have it for my blog.) All the best everyone, and if you are new to my blog, be sure and check out Show and Tell Friday at Kelli's blog. There are usually more that 40 participants.

Awwww what a wonderful and thoughtful hubby you have, the flowers are so lovely!! I'm glad to hear you had such a nice time with your mom but I can imagine how much you're missing her now. It's one of the reasons I'm so glad mine lives only 15 minutes away, I can see her anytime:-) Those fresh veggies look so yummy...our garden is so late this year, I doubt anything will be ready to eat in it until the end of August! xox

How sweet of your husband to send the flower arrangement. I'm sure that brightened your day. They are beautiful.

Don't you just love garden fresh veggies. We are getting that out of our garden too.

Hi Trudi,
Thank you for visiting my blog and leaving a comment on our visiting birds. I've had a look at your blog and you are doing a wonderful job here - so much colour and interesting bits and pieces! I'm hoping one of my blog friends can come over to my home and help me liven mine up. They are very plain, as I don't know how to fiddle with the Blogspot templates.

I'm thinking homemade fresh salsa with those veggies!
You asked about the chalkboard photos...got a minute:) With a program called L View Pro...which is around $40 purchased online. Someone had to teach it to me which took forever!
