Show and Tell Friday
Have I mentioned how much I love this activity? I think it is so fun. If you're interested in joining this great fun and sharing something on a weekly basis, please click on the link on the Show and Tell link. You'll meet a lot of lovey ladies and see a lot of neet things. My hubby and I went yardsaling a week ago and found some neat treasures. I collect cats, the heart frame is new and our bedroom has a beach cottage theme. I love old cameras and collect snowmen too. The little toothpick holder is from an old dime store from our childhood. We got it for 25 cents, and would have paid $5.00 for the memories it brings back for us. Should we go pack and pay the difference? (LOL) Our big bargain of the day was the gumball machine. It's glass and metal and I picked it up for $2.00. I want in for my classroom. I teach middle school special needs students and I think they will really think it's cool to get gum from it. I'm saving it for next year, because today is my last day of School...Yeh!!!! Ten weeks of summer bliss.

Love your treasures! I am a retired (last year) principal. I have one of those gumball machines out in my garage! I had it in my office for a long time. The teachers liked it as well as the students!I guess I should recycle it to a dil's classroom--you've given me incentive!
I love this activity also.
What great finds. The gumball machine will be a treasure for your classroom. What lucky students that you think of them.
I DO love show and tell.

Don't you love yard sales!
I agree, Show & Tell is such a fun thing to participate in. Both to show off our stuff and then to visit all the others and see their neat stuff. You got quite a variety of nice things.

What neat treasures you found. Thanks for sharing.
Fabulous find! I have a collection of gumball machines. I have a super big one all the way down to one that is no bigger than 3 inches. Each one holds a different color of button, they are all about half full. (I have millions of buttons lol) I have them all on one shelf, its so cute~ You know, those gumball machines... you can open them up and pull out the part that requires money to be paid in order to get a treat. You can also adjust the part that limits the amount of goodies that come out~ (just incase you didn't know)
Great garage sale treasures! My in-laws have taken us to many garage sales when we visit them in Texas. I'm amazed at the bargains they find! Looks like you found some too.
You found some wonderful things. I love going to yard sales. I have been a number of times so far this year. It is amazing how much stuff you can buy for just a few dollars.
